Why should our organization choose Tetra Films over other Vancouver video production companies?
We know that for enterprise-level clients, video production is about more than just a creative idea—it’s about achieving a strategic business objective. Communications and HR directors choose us because we’ve built our entire business around predictability and impact.
Our “Proven Video Production Process™ is designed for busy marketers and project managers. It minimizes friction, cost overruns, and delays, ensuring a streamlined experience from concept to delivery. We don’t just create beautiful videos; we create strategic assets that support your internal comms, HR, or marketing goals with clarity and purpose.
What types of video content do you specialize in for corporate and public sector clients?
We are a full-service production agency and handle a wide range of productions. Our services are specifically designed to meet the needs of large organizations, including:
- Corporate & Commercial: Brand films, promotional videos, and recruitment videos that align with your core messaging.
- Internal Communications & HR: Training videos, health & safety modules, and internal announcements that engage and inform your team.
- Specialized & Sector-Specific: Healthcare videos, non-profit stories, government/public service public bidding projects, and educational content.
- Animation & Graphics: 2D/3D animated explainer videos and motion graphics to simplify complex industrial or technological concepts.
- Event Coverage: Professional multi-camera coverage for virtual and in-person conferences, AGMs, and town halls.
We are a national/international company. Can you act as our local Vancouver production team and provide production services elsewhere?
Absolutely. This is a core part of our business. We are frequently hired by international production companies and national corporate headquarters (like Newmont Gold, Weir, and RBC) to act as their professional, reliable “boots-on-the-ground” team in Vancouver, across Canada and around the world. Last year we filmed in 8 different countries and over 30 cities. We provide everything from full crewing and location scouting to equipment and drone videography, seamlessly integrating with your team and brand standards.
What industries do you have the most experience with?
We have extensive experience across a variety of sectors, but our specialty lies in navigating the unique communication challenges of complex industries. Our primary sectors include:
- Healthcare
- Education
- Industrial & Manufacturing
- Non-Profit
- Government & Public Service
This means we understand the nuances of working with complex subject matter, adhering to strict compliance and accessibility standards, and communicating effectively with diverse stakeholders.
How much involvement will our team need to have in the production process?
We adapt to your needs. Our “Proven Video Production Process™” is designed to be flexible.
- Turnkey Solution: Many of our clients (Comms/HR Directors) are juggling multiple projects. They trust us to manage the entire production from script to final delivery, providing them with clear checkpoints for approval. All we need is you to approve the key messages.
- Collaborative Partner: If you have an in-house creative team or agency, we can seamlessly “plug-in” to your existing workflow, providing the specific services you need to bring your vision to life.
Our goal is to be a low-friction, high-impact extension of your department.
What is the typical budget for a project with Tetra Films?
Our projects are custom-quoted based on scope, and our “Precise Costs & Scheduling” guarantee means your budget is locked in upfront with no surprises.
Given our focus on enterprise-level quality and process, many clients engage Tetra on a monthly retainer or by establishing a yearly or multi year budget. Our one off projects typically start at $10,000 and can scale to $500,000+ for more complex, high production quality, multi-day, multi-week shoots or multi video campaigns. We will work with you to establish budgets and provide transparent proposals that outlines exactly where your investment is going, ensuring it aligns directly with your strategic goals.
Can you work with our company’s strict brand guidelines?
Yes. We are experts at working within established corporate brand standards. During our pre-production phase, we review your brand guidelines, tone of voice, and visual identity to ensure every frame—from colour grading to motion graphics—is a perfect reflection of your brand.
How do you measure the success of a video?
Success is defined by your objectives. Beautiful videos and successful projects are only successful if they achieve the goals you set for them.
During our initial project assessment, pre production and messaging stages, we work with you to define the key metrics for success and the scope of your project. For an HR training video, this might be 100% employee comprehension. For a promotional video, it might be lead generation. For an internal comms piece, it could be employee engagement and message clarity. We build the video strategy around hitting those specific targets.
What is your process for feedback and revisions?
Our post-production process is built for efficiency. We use a “No-Hassle Feedback” system—a professional, web-based review platform. This tool allows you and your stakeholders to leave time-coded comments and annotations directly on the video, eliminating confusing email chains. This centralizes all feedback, making revisions clear, fast, and accurate.
Who owns the rights to the final video footage?
You do. Upon completion of the project and final payment, your organization receives full ownership and usage rights for all final video deliverables, as outlined in our service agreement. We may request your permission to feature the work in our portfolio, but the content is 100% yours to use as you see fit. We will keep your footage on hand so you can reach back into your media library at any time for revisions, new projects and more.
