The British Columbia Emergency Health Services (BCEHS) provides critical pre-hospital care through ground and air ambulances across British Columbia. Problem
BCEHS sought to elevate patient care by educating the public and stakeholders on their commitment to providing tailored care through innovative programs. They aimed to recruit for new roles and programs within their Clinical Hub and promote the diverse services that support their vision of becoming a central part of British Columbia’s healthcare model. The objective was to create a series of engaging videos to showcase these new roles and enhance understanding of their contributions to emergency healthcare.
Solution
Tetra Films collaborated with BCEHS to produce four 2-minute videos highlighting the roles and contributions of their Clinical Hub programs. Each video was designed to be educational, engaging, and aligned with BCEHS’s goals:
- Secondary Triage and Virtual Health Benefits: Showcased the efficiency and accessibility of virtual healthcare solutions in connecting patients to the right resources.
- Paramedic Specialist Team: Highlighted the dual roles of paramedics in providing critical care and supporting broader emergency responses.
- Less Acute Paramedic Navigators (LAPNs): Explained their role in managing less acute cases and directing patients to appropriate care.
- Low Acuity Response Units (LARUs): Detailed their approach to addressing non-urgent medical needs and reducing strain on emergency services.
The videos combined action shots, team interviews, and patient-centered narratives to bring BCEHS’s programs to life.
